This is what I think is happening this week.
David will do the second half of the O2 Course again starting promptly at 7.30pm.
Paul will be giving a presentation about dive computers starting at 7.45pm. This will be especially of interest to those divers starting open water training this year who may be thinking of buying a dive computer.
I’m not scheduling any specific training but please could all instructors who are coming bring their laptops/tablets so that we can respond to any trainees who have lessons to finish (Daniel and Henry) or need to do revision (Sports Diver trainees generally!) We can organise that on the night. As always, I will have all the stuff for exams with me so if you think you’re ready to have a crack at an exam just let me know.
Now, a little heads up about next week. Paul Tarn has offered a theory and practical session all about regulators, how they work, how they are adjusted etc.. As it’s a hands-on session it will be limited to 6 people on a first come, first served basis. If you would like a place on this please let me know by email before next Tuesday (13th). If there is a lot of interest in this session Paul has said that he will repeat it later in the year. Also next week I will be showcasing ‘Muck Diving’…basically I’ll be showing you my holiday snaps but believe me, some of the creatures we found in the ‘muck’ were amazing!
