Hi All
Well. as the open water season is nearly upon us this week two of our instructors Tim Gledhill and David Patchett will be giving presentations on the open water sessions that lie ahead of you. What you can expect, the skills you will need to demonstrate and the preparation you will need to make.
After a brief introduction Tim will address the Sport Diver trainees and David will be speaking to the Ocean Diver students. The dates for the open waters sessions arranged so far will be available on Tuesday.
Can I encourage as many of you as possible to attend, as I said in the recent brief sent to you there is large number of you waiting for open water training so it is absolutely essential that everyone is well prepared if we are have a successful season
Except for those of you who still have training to complete the emphasis over the forthcoming weeks will switch to practicing your skills so the pool will be available to you and whenever possible have instructors to assist.
I know I keep going on about this but please remember…..
You practice your skills in the pool and you demonstrate them at Capernwray
There is no other theory training this week.
Will Ward & Casualty – SO1 practice Chris Newsam
That’s all for this week. Have a great weekend and I’ll see you all on Tuesday.
Dave
And Addition
Hi All
One of the problems of doing training plans late in the evening is that I have a tendency to forget things
I just wanted to remind you all of the upcoming Marine Life appreciation SDC that starts next week 6th May run by Ann. It would be very helpful if you could let Ann know by Friday if you would like to attend. This promises to be course well worth doing especially if, like me, you have an interest in marine life.
Many thanks
Dave
