HI All
Another busy week starting with….
Open water trip planning meeting
This will start a at 7:00pm prompt and is for all Sport Diver & Ocean Diver trainees
There will be a brief introduction of Capernwray especially for the Ocean Diver trainees along with a fact sheet outlining current costs et
Next an instructor will outline the courses and in particular the skills that need to be well practiced ahead of going to open water. Remember you practice your skills in the pool and demonstrate them in open water. It is a long way to go and not obtain your qualification not to mention the expense and especially the time and effort put in on the part of the instructors. To that end those going to open water will have high priority of pool space and instructors in the weeks leading up to open water.
Finally we will move onto potential dates. Briefly for those in semi dry suits – which is most Ocean Diver trainees – we train at open water between May and September and, depending on the temperature, early October with sessions each month. So if you can have a think as to what weekends and even weekdays you might be available that will be greatly appreciated.
Right on with the rest of the training plan, oh and before I forget…
Please remember to get your lessons signed off.
