Greetings Divers! Here is a fabulous opportunity to dive the Isle of Skye in 2024 – one of the top locations in Scotland to visit, famous for its breath-taking scenery and landscapes. The Island has a rich history that includes Dinosaur Fossils, Clan Warfare, and the infamous Jacobite Rebellion. The Isle of Skye is also a great destination for wildlife watching. Diving will be typical Scottish west coast – a mix of wrecks, reefs, walls, pinnacles and caves – including the legendary Flame shell beds of Loch Carron and the signature wreck HMS Port Napier.
Ropes-off will be from various harbours around Skye, mainly Portree but also from Uig harbour and Loch Harport. This will give us opportunities to access a greater variety of dive sites in most weather conditions.
Due to the expected depths and conditions, the minimum diver grade will be Sports diver. Experienced Advanced Ocean Divers with depth progression may be considered – please seek advice from RobM.
There are 10 spaces up for grabs. Anyone interested should email the Trip Manager, Lee Saunders, at email@example.com. To secure your place, let Lee know and pay a non-refundable deposit of £82 to the club:
