The club has arranged a joint trip to the Farnes in July with Dearne Valley Divers. Unfortunately several people have had to pull out, so there are now spaces available. If you are interested, please read on.
The trip is on the weekend of 13-14 July, so there will be 2 days diving, two dives per day. We have a hard boat and a RIB booked. The hard boat has a diver lift, and the RIB has a ladder, and both will be loading at the quay at Seahouses. The trip is open to any qualified diver. Diving at the Farnes is an excellent introduction to sea diving for newer qualified divers because all dives are less than 20m depth, and has the added benefit of seeing seals (almost guaranteed) and possibly interacting with seals. For more information about Farnes diving, talk to any experienced diver in the club.
The cost of the two days boat diving is £90. You will need to sort out your own accommodation and food. You will need two cylinders as the boats will not return to shore between dives.
In addition we have booked places for a meal at the Links Hotel for those interested.
