At the planning meeting last year I tabled the idea of diving in Krk Croatia. At the time several people said they were interested so I have finally worked out how it can be achieved. I include some information and an approximation of the price. (Truly I think it could be + or – £100)
Please would everyone, now you have the details, who is seriously interested let me know asap because I believe to get the quoted price we will need to book the flights soon and I think we get the best prices for luggage if we include what we want in the online booking.
To put everyone in the picture, diving from the is a mixture of shore, small boat and day boat diving. The water temperature is around 20 to 24 degrees C. Here are a few promotional videos to show you the dive centre and some of the types of accommodation that are available.

Sadly, the only company that flies direct to the Krk airport is Ryanair. We will be flying from Manchester to Zagreb (There is an airport closer to Krk but Ryanair’s flight there goes from Stansted) The flight on 30th August from Manchester goes at 17.10 arriving in Zagreb 20.40 and the return flight leaves Zagreb at 21.10 arriving back in Manchester at 22.55. I think Zagreb is a 2-3 hr transfer to Krk so it will be a late arrival.
The prices I will now quote are still estimates because I have chosen a middling price for the accomodation the final price will depend on how many people are finally in the group, which accommodation we choose and what type of diving you choose….but the prices in Krk don’t vary by much.
Accommodation and Diving approx 600 Euros £500
Transfer to and from Zagreb 100 euros £85
Flight (price now, but may increase) inc small bag £88
20kg checked in bag (up tp £60 each way) £120
Priority booking (inc a 10kg carry on bag) up to £30 each way £60
Food and Drink not included in the above.
