Has your computer ever gone into “Deco Mode” on a dive? Paul’s session can help you avoid hyperventilation and panic!!
Valuable for anyone wanting to go to Scapa or other deep dives – OR – just wanting to understand decompression better.
There will be some theory and a practical look at how dive computers work, software and how things like Gradient Factors affect your Decompression obligations.
This will be followed by making a plan using software like multi-deco for a dive on the Markgraf (the gun run).
There will be a look at Accelerated Decompression Procedures (ADP) which is a BSAC course Skill Development Course (SDC), This qualification allows the use of O2 for Decompression. Paul will discuss running this for interested parties.
