The midweek dive trip to 8 Acre Lake was enjoyed by Rob,Scott,Mick and Paul. With good vis on the first dive and not too bad on the second. With water temperature at a balmy 9 degrees ( yes we are a bit barmy), who needs Egypt. No pipe fish but we had a swim through a pipe and no Lion fish but we had Mick, not in a dry suit swimming like a lion. Great compass work from Rob ensured we saw all the main features. Weight checks completed by Scott and Mick completed DSMB release as part of his Sports Diver training. Good days diving.
The site continues to improve, a new entry platform has appeared, the foundations for a training room are on going and work on increasing parking space is in hand. Air fills are £4 and shop prices for equipment are competitive.
