Hi All – Dearne Valley is putting feelers out for a potential dive trip to St Abbs:
They are looking at 1 or possibly 2 days diving – 1 day is what we generally call a ‘bounce back’ or ‘day dash’, it’s an early start depending on tide times and takes 3 ½ hours to get there, 2 dives and drive back. This helps keep the costs down.
If you are considering 2 days diving you will need to arrange your own accommodation.
You will need to be able to use a SMB. Max depth would be around 24mtrs to 26mtrs (Black Carr) 18mtrs (Anemone Gullies) 17mtrs (West Hurkar) – these are just a few of the dive sites.
St Abbs is one of the most scenic diving there is on the East Coast and well known for its Wolfish.
If you are interested then let me know and I’ll pass your details to the Dive Manager (ClareP).
Thanks
