I am organising a trip to 8 acre lake as part of my Dive Leader training so I need some divers there to organise please! Dave P is overseeing the day but we are only opening it to qualified divers for pleasure diving (no training apart from my DP2). If, like me, you haven’t been to 8 acre lake before, it is only about an hour’s drive from Barnsley, the facilities are good and I’m told the visibility is excellent. Being a mid-week trip it should be quiet, uncrowded and peaceful diving.
If you are going on either the Pembroke or Farnes trip, this is an ideal opportunity to check out your kit and perhaps, perfect your DSMB deployment skills ready for boat diving.
