Gemma started diving as a child on holiday with her Dad and Brother, finally qualifying during her first tropical Holiday to Thailand in 2014. She says it has been an adventure ever since!
Gemma spent a few years diving on holiday in Greece, France and Switzerland. In 2021, during a sabbatical, she headed off to Playa Del Carmen where she became a PADI Instructor spending her days teaching and guiding with days off spent in the Riviera Maya Cenotes and ‘blackwater’ dives in Cozumel. Her all-time favourite diving has been with Mantas in Maldives and Manatees in Xcalak. We’re so jealous!
Luckily for us, Gemma moved to Yorkshire in August 2022 and joined our club. You’ll see more of her over the year as she completes her instructor crossover to BSAC (and joins us on our scuba trips).
