Hi all,
This coming Tuesday is going to be our first FUN NIGHT! This means that training will be restricted to theory for our new Ocean Diver trainees (as below) and the pool will be completely free for our qualified divers (and those who are pool signed off) to have a bit of fun. Have you ever tried to blow up a balloon under water? Have you ever played underwater boules? Come along and give it a go. As it is half term, the pool will be available from about 8pm giving us plenty of time to enjoy ourselves.
Please note, the cage monkeys also want to have fun so they do not want to be dishing out kit all evening. Thus, the cage will be open for kit hire from 8pm – 8.30pm ONLY…and on a ‘first come first served’ basis…if you’ve got your own kit it would be worth bringing it. At the end of the evening everyone with kit from the cage must be out of the pool and washed off ready to hand the kit back by 9.30 at the latest.
So, to the training bit:
We have three people coming along to sign up Jack, Jess and Dawn. Jack and Dawn will be starting OD training just with OT1 and the swim test this week. Rob is going to look after them once they’re signed up. (Mary, Trevor says he’ll help with the signing up to speed things along if you bring in two signing up books). The other person signing up, Jess, is Jack’s partner and she is already PADI qualified but hasn’t dived for 5 years. She needs to do OT1 too to introduce her to BSAC.
Paul R will start OT3 with Nichola, Daniel and Jack.
Dave C will start OT4 with Jake.
Please could all these trainees aim to arrive by 7.30 to get as much done as possible before the fun night starts. Thanks.
