Bookings are now being taken for two 2016 weekend diving trips – Plymouth and Pembrokeshire. Both trips are open to ALL diver grades.
Trip 1 – Plymouth – 20th -22nd May 2016
===================================
Scott is organising this May trip to Plymouth – boat diving on the wrecks of the Liberty ship James Eagan Lane and Glen Strathallen along with a couple of scenic reef dives at Eddystone Reef and Shag Rock. The ‘James’ is considered a UK signature dive and is a great first-time wreck dive for new divers. Diving is from a hard boat with a diver lift and free air fills available from the on-shore dive centre (so two cylinders required for diving). Hot drinks and lunch are also included.
Accommodation is 2 nights B&B, so some divers may wish to add on additional nights for Thursday & Sunday to break up travelling times.
Cost based on 12 divers is approximately £160 per diver – please pay a £30 deposit to Trevor to secure your place. See Scott for more details about this trip.
Trip 2 – Pembrokeshire – 17th-19th June 2016
=======================================
Rob is organising the June Trip to Pembrokeshire – boat diving the West Wales coast with wrecks and reefs on offer. There’s some great marine life in this area – two years ago the group spotted a white octopus! On Saturday and Sunday, diving is from the MV Wandrin’ Star – a 48ft diving charter hard boat operating from Fishgard. She offers ample deck space for twelve divers plus their kit. There’s an optional shake down shore dive planned for St Brides beach on Friday 17th June.
Accommodation is 2 nights at the very tidy, comfortable self catering dive lodge ‘Ty Newydd’ in twin rooms. Light breakfast toast, cereals, tea & coffee is supplied. Bedding is also provided but bring your own towels. There is a large fully equipped kitchen for self catering, lounge with sea views, off road parking and garden with barbeque area. Some divers may wish to add a Thursday night overnight motel to break up travelling times for the Friday shore dive.
Cost based on 12 divers is approximately £160 per diver – please pay £50 deposit to Trevor to secure your place. See Rob for more details about this trip.
