FAQ

I'm going on holiday next month can I get qualified before I go?

Maybe 6 weeks to 2 months if you go to a professional dive school.  Try:

Sub Aqua Divers in Wath On Dearne - are close and good.   Visit them on www.subaquadivers.co.uk and/or phone 01709 877222 and ask to speak to Mike or Jill.  postcode S63 7DG.

South Yorkshire Diving Academy,  another good local PADI dive Centre.  Their website is http://www.divingacademy.co.uk  or ring Donna on  Tel - 01709 517770, postcode S63 7EU.

If you are very short of time and don't have 6 weeks the Diving Academy can get you through most of the PADI qualification in 2 weeks and give you a referral to a Dive Centre where you're going so you can finish your training by doing the final open water dives on holiday.

ProScuba Diver Training, 9 Morley Fold, Denby Dale, HD8 8XD  www.proscuba.co.uk 07889 071230 is another option.

FAQ 2

So how long does getting trained take with you? You're talking about a few months because we do our theory and pool training spread over a series of Tuesday evenings.   The quality of training is excellent as all our instructors have had rigorous training themselves and it is all built into your club membership fees, so it works out cheaper than a professional school.
